Creation of three beans and two crowns, one for the King, the other for the Queen, for the Galette des Rois by pastry chef Pierre Hermé, crowned "Best Pastry Chef in the World".
The three fèves, small porcelain pebbles split with two eyes and a mouth, represent the Three Kings. The crowns are in openwork tracing paper, as finely as lace, with star and comet motifs.
